The Relics Single Release Show at The Mill!

On Friday, June 18th, Atlanta-based rockers, The Relics, return to the The Mill to celebrate the long anticipated release of their new single “Standing Tall”!
Since their formation in 2017, The Relics have endeared themselves to Atlanta’s rock scene as one of the city’s most novel bands. Their nostalgic-yet-fresh sound is characterized by catchy hooks, tight vocal harmonies, groovy back beats, and thundering guitar leads. The band consists of Joseph Pieper (vocals, guitar), Andrew Cary (bass, vocals), Sean Maloney (lead guitar), and Greg Washington (drums).
With influences that span across the decades, The Relics have reinterpreted the elements of classic rock and brought them into a modern context. Lyrically, their music has a confessional quality that feels reassuring. Referred to as a combination of “The Beatles meets Green Day,” their sound often toggles between Classic Brit rock and 90s Alt rock. They released their self-titled debut in February 2019, which put their sonic versatility in the forefront. Some of their influences include The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Green Day, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Jet.
